"Education is the latch key to success" is Gordon B. Hinckley's famous quote. I believe that he is correct because most of the people we look up to like Bill Gates and Obama all had a great education. Obama didn't start very well but, once he got a grip on his life he ended up becoming president. Bill Gates was a dropout. The difference between him and most people who drop out is the Bill Gates dropped out of his final year at harvard while most people can't even graduate from high school. I think this is true because, my brother's couldn't even finish high school, so now they are stuck working in restaurants. That's why I have to graduate from high school.

Reflection:
I would not like to be an Acupuncturist because I just
believe that it is not a very exciting job. Once again I would much rather be
an electronic engineer. I don’t really like touching people so it is just not
the job for me. I also might get tense that I might hurt the person I’m
supposed to be healing .
My Hobbies
Some of my hobbies include things such as playing video games. I also really enjoy playing basketball. I got interested in video games when I was two years old. I had gotten my first gameboy in 2002. This gift would be one to change the way I live. Video games can take you to a different world where you can do whatever you want. You can kill people, race in flying cars, the possibilities are infinite. I got interested in basketball when I was in fourth grade. We hadn't done much in recess, until one day we decided to play basketball. That desison was one of the best I have ever made. When I got into middle school, I started getting a bit more curious on what other sports I could play, besides basketball. Then me and some of my friends decided to play football, then soccer and that's what we would play whenever the field was open, which wasn't very often. I also like to play video-games with two of my friends because they're the only two people I know that don't get annoying when playing video-games. We play almost anything we can get our hands on. I also like to cook, since my dad has a restaurant he taught me how to cook really nicely and delicious. Those are all of my hobbies.

Reflection:
I would consider being an audiologist because it looks
like it is a very easy job. An audiologist most of the time looks like a calm
mellow person. But I feel like with one little mistake you can end up ruining
someone’s hearing. But, on the other hand you can also give people who can’t
hear very well the chance to hear once more.

by telephone, radio system, or computer-aided dispatch system. They question
callers to obtain the information needed to determine an appropriate course of
action. They also must create and maintain logs of calls received and prepare
reports as necessary. Experienced dispatchers might assist in training new
dispatchers.
Salary:
An ambulance dispatcher earns about $36,000-$56,000 annually.
Education:
To become an ambulance dispatcher you must at least have
a high school diploma. Ambulance dispatchers must also go through a training
school where they are taught procedures such as CPR, intervention techniques,
and ambulance route planning as well as computer systems used by dispatchers.
Picture:
Reflection:
I would not like to be an ambulance dispatcher because
they don’t get paid very well. Although they do save people’s lives, I believe
that electronic engineering is much more of a hands on career. If anything I
would rather be an ambulance driver because at least then I will be part of the
action.

My First Two Weeks At HPIAM
MY FIRST TWO WEEKS AT HPIAM
Not all of my first two weeks were very nice at hpiam. My first week was horrible but the rest was okay. First of all, I had gotten horrible classes, who even takes banking, it was really bad i had never really done anything to change something. But this time I knew I didn't deserve to be in the classes I was in. So I went to Ms.Porter and filled out a request sheet to get new classes. I didn't see any progress the next day and I was very desperate, so i brought my parents in to this. After my dad had a conference with Mr.R, believe it or not, I switched the very next day. Now I was happy because I was in the honors classes where I'm supposed to be. At first I thought the school was horrible, because I was getting mixed in with kids that were about 4 years older than me in most of my classes. After being changed I saw how good the school was. Now I actually enjoy coming to school and spending time working with friends, new ones included. My first english teacher didn't have much patience, neither did my Spanish teacher. But now i have Ms,Pinto, who has much patience but doesn't need it because all kids there are honors and don't misbehave. My brothers had told me that high school was gonna be alot worse than it actually is. When i got into my honors classes i was glad to see some of my old friends from middle school here. I also got to see some friends that I hadn't seen since elementary school. My friend James, who I hadn't seen for three years is in Libra but, we try to walk home together every day or at least most days. When I first got here, and still to this day, many seniors ask me if i want to join the football team, which I would like to join but can't because my parents won't let me. But i do plan to join the basketball team, which is really hard to do. Over all I think HPIAM is a way better school than libra and ssj, It's for sure better than other high schools like Huntington Park High School and Southgate High. I really enjoy my last class of the day which is New Media with Mr.Haymore. The class is very peaceful and you have time to improve your typing skills to the point where you don't have to look at the screen anymore.

Reflection: I
would not like to be an optician because I feel like, although it does help
people, that it would be a boring job. I’ve had many experiences with opticians
because my brother has very bad eye sight and almost every optician we’ve gone
to, has been very cranky. Maybe it’s just my experiences with them but ,
otherwise, I’d still prefer to be an electronic engineer.
